Kids 4 Truth

Kids 4 Truth Ministry

Kids 4 Truth exists to help parents make disciples for Christ!

Over the course of 2 years, kids are encouraged to learn and commit to memorizing 120 essential truths that every Christian needs to know!  Kids' hearts will be exposed to essential truths, like the character of our holy and great God, man's sinful nature, God's grace shown to us through our Savior Jesus Christ, and that one must believe, repent, and put his faith in Christ alone to be saved!

A typical Wednesday Kids 4 Truth night at church starts at 6:30 pm with scripture reading, worship through singing, a time of teaching God's Word, verse recital time, and concludes with game time.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭19‬-‭20‬a

FAQs for Parents

  • K4T takes place Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM to 8:15 PM.

  • Please do not drop off your child earlier than 6:15 PM and pick up your child no later than 8:30 PM.

  • Our curriculum and Bible lessons are primarily taught in English, and kids learn verses in English, except for our youngest group (3-4-year-olds). The 5-6-year-olds use a blended English/Russian language in their class.

  • Yes. Kids should not be dropped off at K4T if they are exhibiting the following symptoms:

    • Fever, diarrhea, or vomiting within the last 48 hours

    • Green or yellow runny nose

    • Eye discoloration or skin infections

    • Persistent or productive cough

    • Other symptoms of contagious or infectious disease

If the child starts showing signs of sickness, volunteers will have a thermometer to check for fever and notify parents immediately to pick up their child.

  • Kids are not given snacks on a regular basis unless it's a special occasion.

  • The K4T staff will make every effort to accommodate children's needs as long as they can provide a safe environment. Parents should communicate all special considerations for their children.

  • If a child is noticeably ill or injured, the parent will be contacted immediately. If sick, the child will be separated from the other children until the parent arrives to pick up the child. LHBC members are not authorized to administer medication of any kind. If a child is disruptive (e.g., hurting other children or unresponsive to the instruction of K4T staff), the parent of the child will be contacted after 2 warnings.

  • At least two volunteers are always present in each classroom, and at least one of them is a class leader. All volunteers aged 18 years and older have received a background check, are members of Living Hope Bible Church, and have been approved by LHBC leadership. Teenagers from the youth who are not LHBC members but are at least 14 years of age are also allowed to serve and are approved by LHBC leadership.

  • Parents are welcome to come to shadow their child for an evening, but due to space constraints in the classrooms, we ask that this request be made in advance with the class leader.
